Captivate 8 - A Beginner's Guide

Good day! I would like to ask if there are any existing topics on the basics of Captivate 8. The approach I am looking for is for someone with no Captivate background to be fully educated on the use of the software. Thank you!

Look at the start screen of Captivate. There are some videos there. There are also videos on Lynda.com. And of course there are also classes you can take.

Was smiling about 'fully educated'? Really, who can claim that? Try first to focus on the type of eLearning courses you'll have to develop. Most basic courses just teach you a little bit of everything, and rarely good practice (Lynda.com is a 'fine' example of that approach, contrary to most of their other course). And next question: what is your learning style normally? Is video, classroom, interactive, individual teaching the best way?

The bad thing about CP8 is that a lot of the tutorials everywhere around are no longer valid because of the change in UI. YouTube has a lot of videos, but beware if they were for a previous version.

As you've likely noticed by now, Adobe considers this link to be valid for the latest version of Captivate, it now has been updated for Captivate 9. Many of the other links above, may still be valid for Cp 8.
