I bought captivate 3 for my company and am under a bit of time pressure. When I try to install, I feed it the serial number from the back of the box [8 numbers] and get back "no a valid serial number".
What is up with that? I understood that the trial version would not work with win 2000 but the purchased version would - is that wrong?

Thanks

Have you contacted Adobe support?

It could be that you just got a bad serial number for some reason...

Hi topalof

I am running CP3, but my serial number (licence key whatever) is definitely a lot longer than 8 numbers. I'm with jb88 on the bad number story OR it could be that the actual number is somewhere else on the box. Check it out and call back if the problem persists (standard helpdesk greeting).

Anyway, good luck, but I hope you get sorted.

Andrew
