I downloaded and thought I installed flashplayer.The page that tells me if it was installed said it was,but,it needed to be enabled.I went throufg the steps to get to the page where I could enable it ,but,it ,flashplayer, was not there to enable.What is going on?

Flash Player is embedded in Chrome.  If it's not there your installation of Chrome could be corrupt.  You may want to try re-installing Chrome.
