Powerpoint import question

After importing a powerpoint presentation and then previewing it, I noticed that before each transition to a new slide the screen flashes white and then proceeds to do the transition (whatever it may be - appear, wipe, etc.) I think viewers will find this white flash a bit annoying before the presentation is complete. The powerpoint itself when played there doesn't exhibit this. Does anyone have ideas how to get rid of this? Thanks. Gary

CANCEL: I discovered that if you bring in the slides as "background" rather than "animation" you don't get the intermediate 'white flash'.
