How can I print out portions of the e-book that I need printed?

The print option is dimmed and not active.

The e-book is not really useful without being able to print it out to use.

Hi,

If your print option is dimmed, it means the publisher of the book has not allowed printing for that particular book.

You can check this by going to File>Item Info (Ctrl+I)

This pop up will show the printing permission set by the publisher.
