Could you please move the Video to your Desktop and then try to import the Video in Lightroom.
Already done. No changes.
Same problem if the video is on the Sd Card or if the video is on the Desktop .
Could you please check and see if the Quick Time Player is upto date , as it is needed to play and work with Lightroom.
Quick Time Player is working fine 10.4 seems to be the last one.
Videos are correctly played IF I am using quick Time player or the finder. Olds one and new one.
But if I try to show them inside Lightroom. "Mode Loupe" in french.
Lightroom is Freezing ...
Could you please create a new catalog and then try and import the videos in the new catalog , and see if it helps.
Same thing on the new empty catalog.
I tried to import the content on the desktop: thumbnail generation is freezing on the first video.
if I continue the import, first photos are imported and Lightroom stop on the first video.
HD is searching... but nothing happens.
I can cancel the import, but LR seems to be unstable (Impossible to exit without killing the process)
Is it possible to reinit the connexion between LR and quick time player ???
YFONTENOY, I'm going to reach out to you privately to see if we can get one of the videos that's failing for you.

I am not able to reproduce this issue in 6.2.1.
In the Import screen, do you see the thumbnail of the video? When you say, thumbnail generation gets frozen, are you able to select the Cancel button in the Import screen?
You mentioned that first photos get imported. Could you please select only the video and then select Import? What happen in that case?
Here some snapshots,
New empty catalog
Import Wizard with :
- Juste 1 Videos, Cancel is possible
- 1 picture, 2 videos, Cancel is possible
- Same after clic on import. No changes on the screen during hours ... Cancel is possible.
- Import with the full directory Picture/videos/pictures
I forgot to say, but nobody ask ....
Lightroom 5.5 is still present on my computer, and is perfectly working.
Importing of the same pictures is working fine.
I imported the files you shared without issues. It generated the thumbnails in the Import screen.
In 5.5, do you see the thumbnails of the videos in the Import screen?
Could you please select the Gear icon displayed at top-right corner and see what's selected for Destination folder?
If you change the destination, is there any difference?
In 5.5 everything is working fine. I see thumbnails of the videos in the Import screen.
Usually I import pictures and videos in the default "Pictures directory" of my profile. With directory by date.
I try to change the destination, or just "add pictures". No changes.
It seems that this is not a problem of pictures but rather lightroom 6 which can not connect to QuickTime on my computer.
Stop asking all these silly questions. Your Lightroom 6.2.1 is buggy, incredible buggy. Go back and test your software before releasing it. A hint: try to import videos, export videos, play videos. Do it on El Capitan. Then come back with 6.2.2
