Why is Adobe Digital Editions ver 4.5.1265213  WIN7 64 bit asking to be updated? Is it not the latest version????

What purpose is the ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/digitaleditions/adeupdaterconfig.cfg file and how is it used?
