If due to some reason, you are unable to deauthorize ADE, follow the below steps:

Windows:

Choose Start > Run.

In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.

In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept

Right-click the Adept key and choose Delete.

In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.

Your authorization will be deleted.

ADE will be deauthorized now.

Now Authorize ADE again.

Same problem but this doesn't work for me.
Even after deleting the Adept key my comptuter is still authorized and if I reopen the registry the key is right back where it was...

ok, follow the below steps as listed.

1. Quit ADE.

2. Choose Start > Search for regedit

3. Right click on regedit, ans select "Run as admininstrator"

4.In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept

5. Select Adept key, right click on it and select "Delete"

6. In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.

7. Close the Registry Editor.

8. Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

J'ai exactement le même problème sauf que je suis sur MAC. Mon ordinateur est marqué comme autorisé mais je n'arrive pas à ouvrir mes livres et un message d'erreur apparaît : Erreur lors de l'obtention de la licence. Problème de communication avec le serveur de licences :

E_ACT_NOT_READY

Si je fais la même procédure sur un autre support (Ipad), mon lien de téléchargement fonctionne.

J'avais autorisé mon ordinateur sur la version 3.0, et celle-ci ne me permet pas d'enlever l'autorisation

J'ai téléchargé la version 4.0, mais je reçois le même message d'erreur : "Impossible d'annuler l'autorisation. Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement"
