Getting error msg "E-IO_cannot_open" when I transfer a book into Adobe Digital Editions", Help?

Hi I also suddenly got this msg on my Win7 laptop. I tried updating from version 3 to 4.5 but still had the message. ADE also then locks up.

I eventually got round this problem by deleting both versions completely from my laptop including the registry entries and the "My Digital Edition"s folder in the "My Documents" folder. I re-installed version 4.5 and bingo it works.

I can only assume that a shared Adobe file gets corrupted over time ,don't know which one though!

J'ai déjà fait ce processus et ça ne fonctionne toujours pas.  Par contre j'ai réussi à télécharger un livre de la bibliothèque dans Adobe Digital Editions mais je ne peux le transférer dans ma liseuse.  J'obtiens un message d'erreur qui se lit comme suit : CE_copy_not_Allowed.
