I have deployed Adobe Flash to systems in my corporate environment and have disabled auto updates using the mms.cfg file. The question I need answered is if I use SCUP 2011 to deploy future Adobe Flash updates, will it remove the mms.cfg file?

If deploying Adobe Flash updates via SCUP 2011 does indeed remove the mms.cfg file then what method would be the best at updating Flash and keeping the auto updates silent so it does not keep bugging the users to install who do not have admin rights?

Thank you

Hi iamsiraskalot,

Future deployments via SCUP will not remove the mms.cfg file, however, we recommend always deploying the custom mms.cfg (disabling Flash Player) to ensure the setting remains disabled, as expected.
