Error getting licence: Licence server communication problem. E_stream_error.

I am trying to download an ebrary book and this error message appears. What does it mean? Is there a workaround?

Its a problem with the eBook Server. How download the eBook exactly?

From my library catalogue I access the ebook on ebrary and click 'Download' then try to open the .acsm file in ADE.

I can open it but when I try to read the file it sticks on page one. These screenshots hopefully show the problem. The page number at the bottom says page 28 and page 30 but the page shown is the front page.

Try this: right click on the Icon of Digital Edition and start as admin.

I'm working on a PC to which I don't have admin rights. I will try from home (not work), what should I do once I am running ADE as admin?

When you start the software as Admin try to open your ePub. Go to File > Add to Library.
