Flash Plug-In for Opera will not download

I did what the instructions said and when it goes for the actual download, says "connection error"   I have a good connection, it made it ok up until the download.

No anti-virus, no firewall.

I downloaded the redist version and it went in ok but Opera doesn't see it so I don't think it's a valid "Plug-In" but it's in my computer somewhere now.

System:

Windows XP x64 Service pack 1

4 GB RAM

10.5 TB storage

Opera 33.0 Browser

Please try the offline/standalone installer posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page in the 'Still having problems' section.
