Cannot read my ebooks downloaded from library

I have used my Kobo reader for a few years but lately cannot read Library Books downloaded to Adobe Digital Editions.  Everything seems OK until I try to open my book in my Kobo.  I get a window saying OOPS This document couldn't be opened as it is not authorized with Adobe ID.  I have authorized this through help in ADE but nothins seems to work.  Any Ideas?

Have you both devices authorize with the same Adobe ID?
