I  cant install presenter 11 subscription. the installer asks for a serial number and  says I am not connected to the internet

This could be due to an incorrectly configured host file as operating system hosts files map host names to IP addresses. An incorrectly configured hosts file can affect your computer's ability to connect to Adobe's activation servers.

Follow these steps to see if there is a problem with your hosts file and to reset it if necessary

  5. Save and close the file.
  6. Restart your computer.
