I have a new iMac running el captain and I am trying to install Adobe flash player. It is not installing and tells me I do not have enough permissions. I do not see a disk repair like I had on my old mac pro. I also can not install a new version of Photoshop elements 14, or lightroom 6. What is the problem with the adobe products? When I try to install the other adobe products it goes through the installation process but at the very end I get a window that says Adobe installation quit unexpectedly.
Hi Fotocop,
Flash Player requires Admin permissions to install as it saves files to file system directories requiring elevated permissions. Is the user account you are using an Administrator account or a standard user account? If it's a standard user account you'll need to provide Administrator credentials to install Flash Player.
For Photoshop Elements and Lightroom installation issues, please post on their respective forums, Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Lightroom.
