Greetings Forum!

I'm on an IBM ThinkPad A31 with Windows XP. I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions however  it didn't launch. It "encountered a problem" and "had to close". Now what?

Dear me, I got the same "encountered a problem" message, etc.

Well it was a great "good faith" effort so thank you just the same.

(I think I have a problem with my A31. I think I need a disc cleanup or the like.)

No, I don't have the Admin pass on this computer. I had asked my tech person (who got computer for me nine years ago) and he doesn't remember the pass. I think I may be "stuck" with whatever the problem may be as I had similar issues come up before that apparently require admin access.
