I have just signed up for the full Creative Cloud and have done a lot of work with Lightroom over the last few days. However, I am having a problem in that whenever I try and Quit it just hanfs and I have to Force Quit.
I am running Lightroom 2015.3 as per the screen shot.
The problem means that whenever I open up Lightroom, the view is always the same as it was when it last quit properly (I can't remember quite when).
The suggested amendments to the Preferences screen as advised elsewhere of no use as one of the suggested boxes doesn't exist in my version and the other is already unchecked as follows:
Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
Click on the General tab
Uncheck “Show ‘Add Photos’ Screen” *** Doesn't exist in my screen
Click on Presets Tab
Disable Apply auto tone adjustments *** already disabled!
Any ideas please?
Actually, it doesn't hang. It is still usable but the Quit option in the Lightroom menu is greyed out!
Reset the preferences of the Lightroom (Holding down SHIFT and ALT and starting Lightroom) and choose yes.
Tried Quitting Lightroom again force quit it if the Quit option is greyed out.
Restart the Lightroom and check if the quit option is available or not.
That made no difference. Sorry.
