Digitial Edition won't let me Erase Authorization, but the publisher of an ebook I bought says that I need to do that in order to access the book. I need to look at the book urgently for a research project. Can someone please help?

Me too.
I get the message" error check activation" after downloading a book
I read I need to Erase Authorization and start again when I get this message.
But when I try I get "Unable To Erase Authorizatin ... try again later"
Seems I can't do anything

I have Adobe Digital Editions on another Win 10 computer and have no problem.
I am trying to do this because I get message "Error check activation" when I try to open a downloaded book on the first computer.

Did all that. Checked key was deleted by going back in regedit..
Even uninstalled the program after from computer.
Re installed.
Opened program. Seemed I was already authorized though I did nothing.
Nothing changed. Still could not Erase authorization.

Reinstall its not needfull. Do you remove the key with a Admin User?

The account I am logged in to Windows with is an Administrator account Just checked in settings/accounts

Try to remove the key again. Then closed registry and start again and check if the key are remains cleared.

I delete the key, close regedit. Open again and the key is not there.
I close regedit. Open Adobe Digital Editions and all my books from before appear again.
I check regedit and the key is back somehow.
I try to download book and get the "Error check activation"
I can't use "Erase Authorisation"
Can I just get rid of everything, download the program and open a new account and start from scratch.
How do I get rid of everything.

Same issues. Too much authorizations. Cant download ebooks anymore ! ?
