When I try to download ebooks borrowed from my public library, I get the message "Unable to Download, Error Getting License. License Server Communication Problem. E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12"  I've never had problems before.  Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

Start Digital Edition.

Press ctrl + shift + d.

accept that deauthorize the digital edition.

then enter adobe id again under help > computer authorize.

i have the same problem but with macintosh. ok an other problem code, but i think this is why it`s mac and not windows. I actualicide my ID profile, but it still did`t works.

Fehler beim Abrufen der Lizenz. Lizenzserver-Kommunikationsfehler:

E_ACT_NOT_READY

Aber ich kann unter hilfe auch nicht die Autorisierung löschen, weil auch dann dieses problem auftaucht, zuerst dachte ich es ist ein Problem das es meine Identität nicht erkennt und ich es mal mit neu Autorisieren probieren wollte. Wen ich dies machen will kommt die fehlereldung: Autorisierung kann nicht gelöscht werden, probieren sie es später noch mal.

Mit programm deinstallieren und neu installieren klappt es auch nicht.

Ich dachte dieses programm sei extra für sollche sachen gemacht, da ich früher auch mal dieses verwendet hatte und seit ich ein neuen Mac habe und diesen durch backup die sachen vom alten übernommen habe gehts nicht mehr. (Zusammenhang?)

Ok, seither hat sich auch das Betriebssystem 4 mal gewechselt, bin jetzt beim Aktuellsten für mac.

Meine alten bücher sind nämlich seit dem mac wechsel auch alle weg oder nur noch das cover. stresst mich aber ned.

Das letzte mir bekannte Betriebssystem wo es noch funktionierte war Snow Leopart. Hilf vielleicht.

1. Schließ Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Lösch die activation.dat unter /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions
   Access hidden library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later. -> Um den Library Ordner zu öffnen nutz das
3. Dann wieder öffnen und auhorisieren.

Wo ist den der Digital Editions ortner? bin dem pfad gefolgt wie beschildert zu Adobe aber von dort aus ist diese ned drin.

Nein, hab ich jetzt aber probiert und zeigt immernoch das gleiche an. Das liegende S hab ich aber weggelassen weil ich es nicht gefunden habe.

Haben sie gerade ein vorschlag auf andere Programme die den selben zweck erfüllen, oder eine idee was da falsch läuft?

Würde es schneller gehn mit remotecontroll? Bietet Adobe das an?

Das ~ ist wichtig. Sonst kommst du in den falschen Ordner. Bekommst du glaub mit Alt und N.

Or is it possible that adobe digital editions can`t read ACSM files? I was thinkin about ACSM is only to save files and you need an ID to identify yourself. Like, you buy an ebook, so the libary gives you this file but you need an programm like adobe digital editions to identify yourself.

Right or totally wrong?
