My Windows 8 computer had a serious hard drive failure but a tech got it up and running... or mostly...

seems my authorization code is corrupted.

I have tried to remove it via the "erase computer authorization" command.

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both with and without a restart in between to no avail.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

ok i figured it out.

i had to go to c:\windows and open the regedit file.

then go to hkey_current_user\software\adobe\adept

right click on adept... delete it... reinstall adobe digital additions

and it worked!  yeah!
