I can´t authorize my computer. I installed Adobe Digital Editions without an ID and when I try to authorize the computer it says it cant be authorized with an account previously used. I bought some e-books which I can´t open on my Sony Reader.

Start Digital Edition.

Press ctrl + shift + d

accept that remove authorize

then enter data again under help > computer authorize

unless you remember your old password this is useless... trust me I have been chatting with adobe for over 3 hrs now with no help whatsoever!

When you need help with the password of the account its can only the customer support.

I removed the authorization but I can´t authorize the computer the computer because it says I can´t use an Adobe ID which hasn´t been used previously to authorize any other device.Now what can I do?????Thanks so much.

1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+D (WINDOWS) or Cmd + Shift + D (Macintosh) to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
3. Select Erase Authorization.
4. Click OK and quit Adobe Digital Editions.
