Why can't I find an install download that will actually download??? It takes me to a screen that says Flash came with Windows 8 and to check add ons and active x filtering. I have don't that. Do a test from Help and get:
Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled.
Please go to step 2.
And step 2 takes me right back to the troubleshooting with add ons and active x
My add ons have Nothing for Shockwave and active x is fine.
I am caught in a GIANT CIRCLE of frustration.
We are trying to install on an RDP Virtual Server (Windows 2012)
Help appreciated.

We don't test Flash Player on the Windows Server distributions ( supported configurations are here: Adobe Flash Player | Tech specs ) and we generally don't recommend that people browse the web on their servers. That said, there are probably legitimate reasons for doing it in some cases; however, I don't think any of us have a lot of experience trying to support that scenario. Server 2012 is super weird.
