Adobe ADE doesn't recognize PocketBook Android App

I had installed the "PocketBook Reader" app on my smartphone Android (4.2.1). I have used it for about six month without any issue.

After a re-nstallation of the app on my smartphone, Adobe ADE doesn't recognize my smartphone as a device.

Noted:

1. the device is recongnized by other windows programs (such as Window Media Player) as a multimedia device.

2. I already tried to remove the folder ".pocketbook" and to unistall and install again the application.

3. The app version is 1.19.11778

Has anyone the same issue?

I checked that the app is present in the list of supporter devices.

In any case before the last re-installation it worked.

So I don't understand what happened meanwhile.

Which version of Digital Edition do you used?

The version is the 4.5.

In the past the 4.0 worked but now it does not.

In this case uninstall 4.5 and install 3.0 and try if works with this: http://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions/downloads.html

The Version 4.5 is seems have any problems. 😕

I uninstalled the 4.5 and install the 3.0.

The issue still remained...

That's odd. Sorry but have no other Idea for this issue.

I'm starting to think that the issue is on PowerBook Apps software side.
