I am running a MacPro on OS X 10.6.8. After a recent problem with the system, I had to uninstall, and then re-install all the software, repair permissions etc. All other programmes are now fine. But not CS4. I have uninstalled CS4 and reinstalled it twice (once via the original DVDs, once via a link sent to me my someone at Adbobe). I enter my serial number as requested, and all seems to fire up nicely until I get an error message saying:
An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because you do not have the necessary access privilege. Photoshop will now exit'.
Can anyone help?
Thanks, Simon
sorry but firstly I am on 10.6.8, and secondly, when I look in Users/Library I am not clear which files I am supposed to go to and then what to do?
any thoughts?
