Considering that Flash is already the most reviled software in the world, why would Adobe make the installation of the product so obnoxious?

I want to use my computer while the install program is running, but I can't see what I'm doing because the install window forces itself on top of all windows.  That used to be common practice but reputable outfits stopped doing it 25 years ago, and intelligent disreputable outfits figured it out shortly thereafter.  You guys boggle my mind.

Flash Player is a free product, and naturally, you're welcome to stop using it.
