flashplayer 20.0 failed to install. Only installed 51%.

Hi,

I am running Mac OS Yosemite. I am trying to install the most up to date Adobe Flashplayer. First, I went to my Library>Flashplayer and deleted all the Flashplayers that showed there. I then downloaded the new flashplayer 20.0. It started to install but at 51% said installation failed. What do I need to do now? I am on a Macbook Pro, 2.4GHz (late 2007).
