How do I stop ADE importing all the Ebooks again that I have deleted over the past weeks?

ADE is insisting on importing all the EBooks I have deleted weeks ago.

Tried deleting all books from My Digital Editions and re installing ADE a few times but no change

Start Digital Edition.

Go under Library > Preferences.
Disable the automatic import.
Remove all Files which no longer need.
Closed Digital Edition.

Rename My Digital Edition Folder under your Documents.

Then start again an the files should now download again.

Have removed all the files.

What do you mean by ...Rename My Digital Editions Folder?

You have a my Digital Edition folder in the folder of you Documents. Rename this to f.e. My Digital Editin.old.

It has created a new My Digital Editions folder.

However.....Opened ADE the books are back...lots of them!!!!

Only Option in Preferences is Automatically Download Books to This Device box. Took tick out of it.

The function are to new. Seems not right work. In this case used a older version of Digital Edition: Adobe Digital Editions downloads

Just don't understand when My Digital Editions is empty that it can import books to ADE

Just looked into the new My Digital folder you told me to create.

There is a folder called Cloud Sync

This what its showing

What does that mean? Where are they coming from?

I keep deleting them over and over but still they come!

The files was sync with the Adobe ID. If you used the same adobe ID its download with version 4.5. The option to disable it complete seems not right work. So uninstall this version and install older version of the link and no ebooks should appear.

Installed ADE 3.0 but books still appear

Go again to Digital Edition folder in Your Documents.

Rename the Folder in foldername + Old.

Then open Digital Edition 3.0 This version should noting download.

Still having this problem in 2019.

Adobe DRM is great when it works, but most of the time a pain in the neck.

I've now erased and reauthorized both computer an ereader half a dozen times, still have multiple copies and can't read them because ADE still says they aren't authorised on my device.

Tearing my hair out!!!
