This is a terribly old thread, but I'll add this just in case it helps others.
When you install Central, look for a /documentation directory that is installed with it. In there will be all of the manuals and documentation, including the JFMerge (Print Agent) manual and scripting guides. There are also examples.
Depending on the version of Central you have and how you received it, you might already have a /documentation directory on your insall media that you can get at without needing to install.
