i installed adobe editions 4.5 and it will not open

my 4.5 editions will not open. i uninstalled it and installed it. stii wont work. please help

Same problem. Windows 8.1 / Kobo Glo Had ADE installed but was constantly coming up with error "ADE has encountered a problem and needs to close". Thought uninstalling may be the way to resolve this. Uninstalled program and reinstalled. Now unable to open at all. Any assistance appreciated. Not a computer whiz so you will have to write slowly if you know what I mean.
