It it my imagination, or did the Mac bits get removed from the Background Update Resources .cab, located on the "Adobe Flash Player Distribution" site?

Hi,

You're welcome.

All Mac versions use the update in the /11 directory.  Windows is different due to some features that were implemented in Windows background update that were not implemented in Mac.

Hi,

The Mac NPAPI installer is included in the fp_background_update.cab file:

The Mac NPAPI installer only exists in the /11/installer directory.

Hi Maria,

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a reason for this? i.e. Does the Mac flash player only have background update in v11?

Thx,

Adam
