Can't read video on Adobe digital editions

I have created a EPUB document with in-bedded video. ( I tried MP4 and MOV).  The EPUB works fine in some other ebook readers I've tried but not on ADE.

I am trying to understand why. I can read on the adobe website that ADE should be able to read video, but I find little information pertaining to what kind of video format should be used. Is there something I am missing?

I have the exact same problem even though I've installed ADE 4.5 - very frustrating as they claim support for ePub 3 features such as video but it just doesn't seem to work.
