Before exporting a photo into Premiere Elements 14, is there an optimal size (in pixels) that I should reformat the photo?

I'm exporting photos from several different Apple Aperture libraries into a single folder. I plan to import the photos from that one folder into Adobe Organizer. I'll add the photos into a Premiere Elements 14 movie from Adobe Organizer.

The finished Premiere Elements 14 movie will be exported in a format for an HD (not 4k) tv.

Native aspect ration of the photos: 3:2.

Most of the photos started out as 4928 x 3264 pixels (16 MP) maximum size.

Of course, those that I cropped finished up smaller.

My question: Is there an optimal size (such as 1920 x 1080, 2560 x 1440) that I should use to format the photos when I export them from Aperture? Should I leave them as they are? Does it matter?

      Thank you.
