Earlier today i changed a partition on my computer and it seems to have affected my ability to open an ebook in Digital Editions. I purchased the book though the campus ebookstore vendor but when i try to register it will not work as it tells me the login ID or password are incorrect.
I looked at the forums but did not find anything similar to my case. I did come across one post where it was recommended the "Adept" registry key be removed to be able to register the product, but that did not work. I now have a copy of the Adept file on my desktop and need to bring it back in to the registry in the Adobe folder.
Is it possible to delete everything and reinstall the program and ebook from scratch?

Has you try remove the Adept with a admin-user?

I removed Adept with user profile not admin

That this the issue. You can remove registry keys only with full admin rights.

Ok Thanks, however the computer authorization was being requested by adobe
before I amended the registry key. So I need to login as the admin and
delete adept from there?
Is there a way for me to determine what the user name associated with the
product is because it can only be 1 of 2 and I tried both but neither works.

What do you mean exactly?

What I meant was that adobe is asking me to provide a user name and
password to authorize the computer - what user name are they referring to?
Is it my adobe account because I tried it and it doesn't not work.
