I just bought a KOBO Glow HD and tried to activate it thru ADE on my laptop (same ADE version).

Result: activation server error with an empty error code.and the message: Try again.

Kobo's solution is to deinstall version 4.5 and install version 3..  This worked for me but not happy to have to use and old version of DRM.

No change for me alas. Same problem: activation server error without an error code
