trying to download ebook in Digital editions and it goes to Adobe Reader with messge it cannot open the file.

In trying to download an ebook in Digital Editons it defaults to Adobe reader with message shown below.  I have tried the solution offered in the Forum and it did nothing for me.

It sounds like your "association" of .acsm files with ADE has been lost.  In windows 7 Click Start then Default Programs then Associate a file type or protocol with a program.  select acsm and change the default program to ADE.
