The error seems a problem with the file. Have you the issue only with one file? Have you try download any other File?

I should have been more specific. All epubs I tried to download from
My library account. Never had any issues until I upgraded to mac os el capitan.
Try if work a eBook out other source: Sample eBook Library | Adobe Digital Editions
