Select the image and look at the Effective resolution in the Links panel, It should be at least 200ppi.
You're giving us nothing to go on.
What version of InDesign? What printer? What operating system?
Have you tried exporting a PDF and printing that?
When you print directly from InDesign, to get full resolution output, you must go to File > Print > Graphics > Images and choose "All" from the Send Data: menu. For some reason, it has always defaulted to "Optimized Subsampling."
Then again, you claim the "font" printed blurry. Is the text in question live type, set in InDesign? Is it possible it is in contact with an area of transparency applied to another object? A screenshot of the layout could help, along with any other details you can provide about exactly what you're doing.
I just reread your question. I was originally thinking you were getting a blurred image – but a blurred font that's something else. Has the font been rasterised?
