Corrupt HTML with special characters

All our RoboHelp HTML Help files were created in RoboHelp 5 or 6. We have recently upgraded to RoboHelp 7 and have to convert all our RoboHelp files to version 7 before we can make edits. Now, when we publish all our RoboHelp files, all our special chracters such as ( ), " ", endashes, emdashes are being converted into HTML code when viewing the RoboHelp files in Internet Explorer.

Example 1: "One-Size-Fits-All" turns into &rdquoOne-size-fits-all”
Example 2: Process... turns into Process&ldots;

Has anyone experience this? Does anyone have any solutions other than manually cleaning it up with Dreamweaver?

Thanks.

Ryan

Thanks. It does seem to explain my issue. I will try to upgrade to 7.01 and see what happens.

Yes. It works. After republishing the "corrupt" RoboHelp project, all the HTML code turned into legible special characters.

Thanks Rick.

Where will I find the 7.0.1 version of RoboHelp? I had this same corruption happen in my recently converted help file. Thanks for your assistance.
