I am having difficulty with Adobe web pages.  If I do a search for "Digital Editions" on the Adobe web site, I get a number of hits.  (The URL of the search is http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/search/index.cfm?term=digital+editions&loc=en_us)

I list below each Page Title, with the URL that each item (supposedly) links to underneath it.

Download | Adobe Digital Editions

http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html

Adobe Digital Editions downloads

http://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions/downloads.html

Adobe Digital Editions

http://www.adobe.com/privacy/ade.html

Download | Adobe Digital Editions Home

http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/digital-editions/download.html

FAQ | Adobe Digital Editions

http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/faq.html

Now, what I get is quite different from what is indicated:

If I click on the first one, I arrive at http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/indesign.html instead of the listed URL.

If I click on the second one, I get the correct URL, with access to ADE 3.0 and ADE 2.0.1.

If I click on the third one, I get a (slightly) different URL, reflecting the fact that I am in Canada:

http://www.adobe.com/ca/privacy/ade.html

If I click on the fourth one, I get, again, a "ca"-specific variant: http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/digital-editions/download.html

If I click on the fifth one, which is (supposedly) a FAQ explaining the difference between ADE 4.5 and ADE 3.0, I get http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/indesign.html

I really would like to read the FAQ to find out the difference between ADE 3 and ADE 4.5, but I cannot access it.

Can anyone help me?

are only the version of Digital Edition. 4.5 is the newest Version and 3.0 the Version for 4. You can used both choose the version which you want.

Thank you for your reply.  It tells me the difference, but I still would like to know why I cannot access the web pages.

Which web-site exactly and what happens when you open it?

As I mentioned in the original post:

When I try to access

http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html

I get http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/indesign.html  instead.

When I try to access

http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/faq.html

I get http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/indesign.html instead.

Both of these (supposedly valid) URLs give incorrect pages.  Both end up on the same (wrong) page.

I am trying to find out how to tell Adobe about this, so that it can be fixed.  Should I start a new conversation with "Bad Link" as the title?

Both Links work on my Device fine. Seems a problem with your Device or your Internet Browser. Have you try a other Device or Internet Browser?

It now works, on both the original device/browser and on a different device/browser.  Clearly the problem was a transient one, and has been fixed.  Thank you for accompanying me on this journey.
