The following error message pops up when i try to launch a simulation embedded in the webhelp. The webhelp has been generated in RoboHelp 11. Is there a way to launch the simulation without receiving this pop up?

So that looks like you’ve got a Captivate SWF file in as your movie & you haven’t enabled Flash to run in your browser. If that’s going to be a problem, you may want to experiment with creating your Captivate movie as HTML5 output and sticking that in your RH topic instead.

@Jeff - There are certain features that don't work in the HTML 5 output from Captivate. These features (mostly rollover events) rely upon distributing as a SWF.

@shinjineec39545708  - This could simply be an issue where Flash tosses an error because you are running it from your local hard drive. Presumably while testing and before you make the content available to others. If that's the case, things *SHOULD* be fine once you deploy the content and others consume it from a web server.

One way past it is to massage your Flash Security settings so that the location you are testing from is seen as a "safe" area. The other is to just upload the content and test in more of a "live" type of environment.

Cheers... Rick
