There are two problems that have cropped up on Windows since the last update to CC 2015. One is a permissions issue (see Adobe InDesign CC 2015 - Program has stopped wo... | Adobe Community), and the other is an apparent bug involving the Typekit .dll file (for which I don't have a link, but you will find a number of threads here with a suggested workaround).
Thank you very much for your help. I've followed all the instructions and still was not working, until I got to your last message. Now the problem is solved and I can finally work with InDesign... so it was something about going to the LAN settings and un-check all the check boxes in the dialog.
