Is it possible to change the font to sans when viewing an epub?

On some devices I have used for epubs I have the option to change the font (I have a personal preference for sans) but if I'm on the computer and using ADE I can't see a place to do that. If I can't does anyone know the reasoning for it not being possible in ADE?

Should I assume it isn't possible to change the font to sans? If an ADE expert (or someone just more experienced than me which wouldn't be hard) says it isn't possible I'll mark this answered. Cheers
