Hallo,

Hi,

As of Windows 8, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in Internet Explorer and Edge browser in Windows 10. Due to this all updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Update. We have no control as to when Microsoft releases the Flash Player updates and their release schedule may differ from ours.  If you have run Windows Update and an update is not available it's because Microsoft has not released the update yet.  Tomorrow is Microsoft's Patch Tuesday, as such, it's likely that Microsoft will rele

Hi Kratika,

that I did already. See this:

For You in English: I executed the complete regular update procedure (you linked to) manually, but flash.ocx remained the old one. Do You have another tip?

Hi,

Maria, you are right! I just got the latest Windows Updates, and now I have a new Flash.ocx. Before this I couldn't believe, that one software product, that resides in one single installation folder, is updated in two parts by two different update providers. Perhaps You can imagine, that this can confuse a normal user, who sees, that the first part has been updated but the second not.

Many thanks
