Please let us know the dot version of Adobe application and OS you are using?
Are you downloading file on desktop or mobile device?
Are you experiencing this issue in downloading other PDF as well?
Could you please also share the source from where you are trying to download file.

Hi...
Where do I find the dot version I am running on my iPad ....? Also I get
the same problem transferring attachments from emails, also from
excel...... The source is the payroll department of my employer which is
Network Rail, so as you can appreciate I cannot give you access to my
personnel information..... But needless to say I have been able to download
payslips and time sheet information for the last 3 years and my companies
IT department assure me that the PDFs are of the same format ...?

Hi golfstu1974,
Which mail app do you use to open email attachments on your iPad/iPhone? Is it Apple Mail (the built-in mail app)?
Please take a look at the Problem #1 section in the following FAQ document to make sure that attachments are fully downloaded.
How to avoid known PDF email attachment problems on iPad/iPhone
Which web browser do you use to download PDF documents (payslips and time sheet) from your company website? Do you use Google Chrome or Apple Safari (the built-in web browser on iPad/iPhone)?
Other users have reported that the latest version of Google Chrome (version 49.0.2623.109, released on March 29, 2016) appears to have problems with any documents (not just PDF documents) downloaded from the websites that require sign-in with credentials (username and password).
Would you use Safari (instead of Google Chrome) to download your payslips and time sheet and use the "Open in" feature to open them in Acrobat Reader for iOS?
Please let us know what you find.
