Adobe Digital Editions will not accept my current Adobe ID password as correct when I try to deauthorize my computer for my library account. Is there a way to force the deauthorization?

Hi
There is no Adobe Digital Editions folder or file in Application Support. There is only an Adobe one and I assume that one is for Acrobat Reader. Where else would it be?
Thanks for your help
