i downloaded the app today after I checked out a book on open library. I do not see the book and I don't  know how to read it or return it

Yes. On my ipad

library is blank

missed a step with downloading

didnt  ask what format i wanted to use

want to return book before it is late

Try to choose the file in your file system and then choose digital edition as program.
