ADE doesn't recognize iPad

Im new in ADE. I have a problem with my iPad. The ADE in my home computer can't detect my device. I need to transfer an ebook file to my iPad. I have checked authorization infos and both iPad & Computer are authorized with the same Adobe ID. Need help. Thank you.
