Had Windows 10 installed on this computer. I can not get Flash Player installed. I had been running Win 7. The player worked then.

Hi,

Which browser are you trying to install Flash Player for?  If for IE/Edge, then Microsoft embeds Flash Player in those browsers and there is nothing to install.  If for a different browser, launch that browser and go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download the version of Flash Player for the specific browser.

There is no option on that site for browsers such as Chrome.

Chrome's Flash component is integrated into the browser; Google it

Hi,

Please provide the following:

  1. Location path that Chrome is using for Flash Player:
    • Go to chrome://plugins
    • click the +Details button in the upper right to display plugin details
    • Scroll down to to the Flash Player entry
    • What is the the location path?  A screenshot of the plugin details would be very helpful
  2. A link to a page where Flash is not working.
    • A screenshot in addition to the link would be very helpful.

How to post a screenshot:

Hi,

yes, sorry, I should have included Chrome in my previous comment.  As CS mentions, Google does embed Flash Player in Chrome, and has for many years.  It's possible Flash Player is disabled in the browser.  Please see Enable Flash Player for Chrome  for instructions to check the status and enable if necessary.  If Flash Player is enabled and Flash content still doesn't play you may want to uninstall and re-install Chrome.
