Fillable PDFs

Can fillable PDF eBooks (student study guide) be used in Adobe Digital Editions? Anyone using one currently?

Trying to understand if a student makes notes or answers fillable sections in the PDF, whether they can save that "new" version of the PDF or the DRM will block that?

Followup - if we set the ability to print the PDF eBook, will that allow the person to print their notes and answers in the fillable sections?

With Digital Edition can you not edit or fill a PDF.
