February 2015 my hard drive and mother board failed. Apple replaced the mother board and I paid for a new solid state hard drive.

Since then, my Digital Reader has not functioned.

I now urgently need to download an ebook for work purposes and I'm not able to do so.

Same problem a year ago but I never pursued the problem to a conclusion. Now I must.

WHY CAN'T I AUTHORISE MY COMPUTER WITH A NEW HARD DRIVE?

This is Adobe's solution to solving problems? A forum? Unbelievable.

I can no longer read my ebooks. When trying to authorise my computer I continually get this message:

An Error Has Been Detected

Activation Server error - code E_AUTH_NOT_READY

Digital Editions encounter an error on the activation server.

I've purchased a new ebook today and it won't open.

I get the same message as above when I try to authorise my computer?
